Legends of Tomorrow which returns on the 13th of October on the CW has announced the addition of multiples superheroes to its roster. The only role yet to be cast out of the five heroes announced is Dr. Mid-Nite. We are also yet to know which version of the character will be portrayed on the series. In an effort to get you acquainted with the history of each of these characters we are publishing this post to get you acquainted with Dr. Mid-Nite. Today, the first image for Maisie Richardson-Sellers in the Vixen costume has been released by Legends of Tomorrow. The Vixen we will meet in the second season will not be same old Mari McCabe but rather her grandmother Amaya Jiwe, something that is made easier when having a show based on time travel. Sellers was cast to replace Megalyn Echikunwoke who played the Mari McCabe version of Vixen in a guest starring role on the CW's Arrow and who also voiced Vixen in the CW's animated series named after the character. The change in characters and actresses was made due to the engagement of Megalyn with other projects. Legends of Tomorrow returns to the CW on October 13.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow has announced some changes to the team going forward into its second season. We already know from the finale of its first season that Hawkman and Hawkgirl are quitting the team. We have already seen Hour-man portrayed by Patrick J. Adams introducing himself as part of the Justice Society of America (JSA). But who is Hour-man? And who are the other heroes who we will have introduced into the second season of the DC series namely Stargirl, Obsidian and Mid-Nite? We also know from the news already out there that Vixen is going to be joining our legends team. But why are we not getting Mari McCabe and rather getting Amaya Jiwe as another version of Vixen? It is official, Stargirl has been cast into Legends of Tomorrow. The 20 year old Sara Grey has been cast to play the role of the member of the Justice Society of America. Due to other commitments Megalyn Echikunwoke who plays Vixen on the CW animated series and who also guest starred in the fourth season of Arrow in the same role will not be able to play the role on Legends of Tomorrow. Vixen will rather be played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers. To make up for the change of actresses Maisie will be playing a different Vixen (Amaya Jiwe instead of Mari McCabe) Mid-Nite and Obsidian who will also be part of the JSA are yet to be cast.
