WHAT THE GEEK

Have you ever watched the movie ' Frequency '? Before you read ahead be warned of minor spoilers. Well if you haven't then you have missed a lot. The movie that released in April of 2000 and starred Jim Caviezel (Person of Interest), Dennis Quaid and Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) was pretty great in so many ways. The story was new and different and the acting of the two lead actors, Caviezel and Quaid was just great, Caviezel more than Quaid in my opinion. The Movie John Sullivan (Caviezel) who still mourned the death of his father thirty years prior to the events of the movie, still lives in the house where he grew up. One of these days he starts messing around with his father's old radio and begins transmission. Due to you know Sci-Fi stuff, he makes contact with his father exactly 30 years prior to that night, one day before the death of his father. It is definitely nothing like the first movie but it is still pretty good. The sequel takes most of the stars of the first movie, except for Isla Fisher who is replaced by a new horseman played by Lizzy Caplan. In the sequel, we meet the three of our four horsemen ( four less one Isla Fisher), one year after the events of the first movie, all in hiding and awaiting instructions from the eye, a secret society of magicians they have been recruited into. Atlas (Eisenberg) who grow tired of waiting seeks the eye himself. The events build up from there as Lula is approved to become the fourth horseman now that Henley is gone until we end up meeting Chase, the twin brother or Merritt (Harrelson) whom he describes as the man who at some point in his life cheated him out of everything. We then meet the antagonist of the movie and Chase's employer, Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe). The powerful man that Walter is coerces the Horsemen into stealing for him. And in a mostly si...

As a big fan of Tom Hanks there will always be some bias in how I review his movies. However, setting that bias aside and considering Tom Hanks was impressive but not the most impressive in this particular movie, my review is going to be as fair as it gets. The movie stars Tom Hanks as the infamous Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as writer P. L. Travers, the author of the Mary Poppins novel as well as Paul Giamatti as Ralph, a driver assigned by Walt Disney to drive P. L. Travers during her visit to the U.S. in an effort from Walt Disney to turn her novel into a movie. Thompson throughout a major part of the movie plays the very annoyed Travers who even when fine with her surroundings seems to put up a wall of disliking everything around her in an attempt to ensure that her book is not made into a movie by Disney or at least in case it is made into one it is done on her terms.
