Spider-Man Homecoming: Many Characters, Handle It.

When in doubt, reboot the Spider-Man movie franchise. That's what's been happening over the past fourteen years or so. First there was the Tobey Maguire movies Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3. Yes, very creative. But truth be told the first was worth watching, the second was fine and the third was just a waste of time. Loved the black Spider-Man suit though in the third, very dark. After the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy there was the Andrew Garfield movies. In 2012 we saw the Amazing Spider-Man followed by its sequel the Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014. The first was actually more than worth watching, it was great, the best Spider-Man movie ever made, until we see better in the future at least. But then again the sequel wasn't as great. The sequel probably was rated decently only because of how talented and how great Emma Stone is an actress. And even her character, Gwen Stacy was dead before the second movie ended. And now we have the latest reboot of S...

Warcraft (2016): Spoiler Review & Fel Magic Explained

As a fan of the game franchise and a previous hardcore raider and a current casual player I am very biased. My bias here tends to be with and against the movie. The bias against the movie is a product of my knowledge that there are many other Warcraft stories that could be told, much stronger and more appealing ones, especially to those who know nothing about the game franchise. A very good example of these stories is the story of Arthas Menethil and his turn to villainous as he becomes the Lich King, the destruction he brought and the fight to free the world of his evil. Nonetheless, it is worth noting that while I sit here making conclusions about what other viewers might have liked I believe the truth might as well be that taking the story one step at a time until we get to the better times might be the best way to get the viewers acquainted with the characters and in love with the entire movie franchise, that is if it continues to be a franchise. Warcraft is a movi...

Justice League (2017): Trailer Review

Justice League releasing on the 17th of November 2017, has had a trailer release as part of the events of a 2016 Comic-Con panel. And it is now definitely clear what heroes will be part of our Justice League. We have got Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. The Trailer shows us a few things: - Wonder Woman and Batman are going to be working together on the recruitment of other superheroes with whom they will form the Justice League. - We see Ben Affleck asking about Aquaman and finally meeting him, Aquaman seems to refuse Batman's recruitment proposal as he lifts him off the ground and pushes him against a wall. - We also see Batman recruiting the Flash. Ezra Miller seems to be a decent fit for the flash but just like Ben Affleck as Batman, Ezra has the benchmark for the role already set so high by Grant Gustin in the Flash TV series. His scene in the trailer is pretty decent but it is still no Grant Gustin performance so if this is how he is go...
