On another note it has been indicated that if and when Arrow is to be renewed for a sixth season, the season might not only be constituted of flashbacks but of flashforwards as well. Arrow's fifth season would mark the end of the flashbacks in all cases since it would conclude Arrow's five years in and out of the Island before returning home. The flashbacks of the sixth season will explore perspectives of other characters rather than that of Oliver Queen as Mark Guggenheim (Exec Producer) and Wendy Mericle (Exec Producer) indicated.
