This Fall on Gotham & Lucifer Promo Breakdown

So Fox dropped a new promo for its 2 running DC Comics shows Gotham and Lucifer.

Here is a quick breakdown for the Gotham Promo:

- Seems Jim Gordon is still insisting on not being a cop in any way shape or form anymore after his discharge and imprisonment in the second season of the show.

- Penguin seems to be stronger than ever and is actually addressing the systems of Gotham in the GCPD. How does he get to the point of being such a "model" citizen or not

- Jada Pinkett Smith seems to be back as a series regular or recurring guest star at least playing good old Fish Mooney, after her resurrection in season 2 by Dr. Hugo Strange.

- It seems from all the scenes in the promo including Fish Mooney and Penguin or the mention of either that the war between them is going to be a big arc in at least the first half of the season.

- Fish Mooney wants an army and I am sure she will end up getting it before it probably falls apart.

Lucifer Poster

On the other hand the Lucifer promo carries some information on the second season of the DC/Vertigo show:

- Lucifer seems to be extremely scared and threatened by his mother, and for some reason is under the impression she is going to kill him.

- Tricia Helfer has been cast to play Lucifer's mother.

- Lucifer is going to still be same old, punish the criminals by scarring them for life kind of guy.
