Guess What? Caitlin is getting a family.
It has been announced that Susan Walters is going to be joining the cast of the Flash at least in a guest starring role as Caitlin's mother.
So far Caitlin's mother has been only mentioned during season 2 as the overbearing cold mother and according to the News on the third season she will on the other hand view her daughter as the ungrateful rebel.
Carla Tannhauser besides being Caitlin's mother is a biomedical engineer heading a major research organization.
On another note a question worth asking about Kid Flash is if Wally will continue to be Kid Flash after the reversal of Flashpoint. We already know he will be in Flashpoint but what about what comes next.
We already know that Jessie Wells (Who is speculated to end up being Jessie Quick - A female Speedster in the comics) and Wally West were affected by the experiment performed in season 2 to restore Barry's powers so I speculate that once the Flashpoint is reversed Wally West will probably not realize he has powers and his character will be eased into finding out about his powers. That or getting his powers out of Flashpoint might even be postponed for Season 4, after all there is already a lot planned and going on for Season 3.
