Actress Lotte Verbeek (Ana Jarvis from Agent Carter, and the infamous Geillis Duncan/Gillian Edgars from Outlander) is coming back for more episodes in the upcoming season to play Katarina Rostova.
Considering the recent trailer released by NBC promising us a final verdict on who Elizabeth Keen's/Masha Rostova's father is it is suffice to say that if it is not Kirk then the only person to tell us the truth come the season premier, it is going to be the Mama Rostova.
Looking at the news of the actress returning for Season 4, there is only two ways this can go:
- Katarina returns in flashbacks (because she is well, "DEAD") to speak of the father or with the father getting us to know the definitive truth.
- Katarina returns in the present and surprise, surprise she is alive and she just makes sure we know who the father is by either agreeing with whatever is going on or trying to get Liz back from Kirk.
