Well finally a promo for the fourth season of the Blacklist has been released. Most of the scenes are already from previous seasons. However, the promo seems to throw the viewers of the show off again with the whole, "Who is Liz's father?"
If anything the question has been answered in the Season 3 finale. Alexander Kirk is Liz's father, or is he? I am going to go on a limb here and say there is a chance no matter how slight, Kirk is not her father, not her biological father at least. In my opinion, This trailer is meant to do one of three things:
- Have us speculate again that Raymond Reddington (Star James Spader) is Liz's father just because they can create a trailer like that or because it is actually true that Kirk isn't her father.
- Tell us that we will know more about how Kirk and his daughter Elizabeth were separated and give us an insight into their story.
- Have us speculate that Kirk isn't Keen's father and that someone else is, not necessarily Reddington.
The Blacklist returns to NBC with all new episodes as its fourth season premieres on Thursday the 22nd of September.
