24 hours prior to the airing of his episode, IBIS Clear Capital's stock crashed due to what was referred to as a glitch in a trading algorithm costing investors $800 million and while Gates planned on having IBIS CEO Walt Camby appear for an interview on his show that latter unexpectedly went for a business trip in Geneva.
Our delivery man Kyle Budwell on the other hand invested $ 60,000 in the stock before it came crashing which were his entire life savings that he inherited from his mother and held Lee responsible for endorsing the company on his show a month earlier.
This is all just part of the early scenes in the movie and we are not here to spoil it but suffice to say the movie is majorly about corporate and personal greed and it runs in a very smooth and decent manner.
One of the best things about this movie as well is it shows the character played by Clooney as a character who at first takes Kyle's investment as a small light amount of sixty thousand dollars but later on as a conspiracy starts to unravel, starts feeling for Kyle. The transformation from hostage to sympathizing hostage is gradually played over the course of the movie and well played indeed.
The movie might not be the best either of George Clooney or Julia Roberts had to offer throughout their careers but it is still a very decent watch and they do perform really well in it.
It is no surprise as well that the Starz Original TV series Outlander based on a series of Novels by the same name, Caitriona Balfe gives an amazing performance as Diane Lester. Everything from her body language, including every single facial expression of hers is worthy of being called great acting.
The movie 98 minutes long and is worth being given a go. I rate it a 6.0, maybe 6.5 out of 10.0 for both acting and a decent story.
