Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) - Review

They taught us wrong!!! All the education in the world will never tell you the truth about the history of this planet the way Ice Age honestly delivered it in its fourth installment.

Scrat is the one who cause the break of Pangea (the last super-continent to ever exist). Damn you and your nut Scrat. In the meanwhile Manny and Elle are dealing with their teenage daughter, well, being a teenager. Sid's family arrives momentarily only to leave again after dropping granny with him.

Soon into the movie our trio, Sid, Manny and Diego along with granny are separated from the herd due to the continental drift and so starts the adventure of them trying to find their way back. The fourth installment of the animated feature takes us into the world of pirates and more importantly the world of Diego finding his soulmate and falling in love.

The movie as usual is half animation, half pure comedy and is worth the watch on one of those nights where you just aren't willing to take on any serious projects.

Granny voice by 'Wenda Sykes' was just a laugh riot throughout the movie. This woman's voice and way of talking through the role cracks the viewer up like there is no tomorrow.

As usual Scrat as well makes you laugh repeatedly, every single time a scene involves him, you will never in your life meet someone so stupid and so destructive.

All in all I rate this movie with a solid 7.0 out of 10.0, worth the watch.
