Gotham Season 3: News

So we have been ignoring news about FOX's Gotham in favor of working on bringing in all the news from the CW's four DC shows but it is time to give Gotham a look.

Harley Quinn

One of the Gotham Executive Producers commented on bringing Harley Quinn into the fold:

You may have already seen Harley as a person that you thought you had met and known for a long time. So we always reserve the right to sort of do that as well.
Who could it be out of all the female characters on the show? So let's use elimination and then try and utilize more concrete proof. It definitely couldn't be Fish Mooney for the obvious reasons of Harley Quinn having more than just criminal brains. It couldn't be Selina Kyle (Cat Woman) or Ivy Pepper (Poison Ivy). Neither could it be Leslie Tompkins if we plan on sticking to the comic book narrative. And finally out of the remaining two females on the show she couldn't be Tabitha Galavan (Tigress). That leaves us with the one and only Barbara Kean who has been around for long, has no other use on the show than to torment Gordon by having him deal with her insanity, she also got close to the second season's deceased wannabe Joker and finally she is certifiably crazy. Whether she is or not this piece of news shows us there is a plan to introduce a Harley Quinn into the Series, one way or the other.

New And Returning Characters

We know now as well that we will be seeing Hugo Strange one more time. The new season will also introduce us to Solomon Grundy, Killer Croc, Lee Thompkins will return to the series as well but with a new love interest, other than Jim Gordon and he is on the opposite side of the law that Jim has always been and always be on.

On other characters we also know that Alfred Pennyworth is getting a love interest in the third season of the DC show.

We also know that we will see Benedict Samuel who has been cast to portray the Mad Hatter for the first time during the third episode of the season. Killer Croc will appear in the very first episode, however secrecy around the identity of the actor playing the character makes us belief that we will not be finding out who his non Killer Croc persona is right away.

Here Comes The Riddler

Cory Michael Smith, the actor who portrays Edward Nygma on the series teased that he will be going full-on villain Riddler this season. How much would we love to see that? A lot!!!

Thanks for tuning in and remember Gotham returns Mondays this fall on FOX.
