Vince Vaughn has branded himself throughout most of his career as a comedian, and a comedian he is. The movie delivers to the audience tons of laughs throughout its run time.
The movie is about David Wozniak (Vaugn) a deliveryman working for his family's butcher shop who is pursued by his thug creditors whom he owes eighty thousand dollars and with a pregnant girlfriend (Smulders),
Returning from work one evening he finds a lawyer representing a sperm back waiting for him only to inform him that samples he donate were given to several women, a fact that ended up with him being the biological father to 533 children of whom 142 joined a class action lawsuit to force the fertility clinic the identity of the father.
Chris Pratt (Brett), who is also Wozniak's lawyer takes the case to try and keep the records sealed while David starts a search for these children.
As usual this is nothing but a minor part that we see early on in the movie, we will not discuss further events so as not to spoil the movie for you however, worth saying that both Vince Vaughn and Chris Pratt deliver extremely funny performances.
The movie is about how Wozniak goes from complete carelessness and failure in all life's aspects to becoming a more responsible person, a person who becomes dependable enough for his girlfriend and mother of his unborn child to agree to their relationship continuing and his involvement in their unborn child's life.
All in all, while the movie is a comedy, it does deliver to the viewers more than comedy, it delivers a touch of drama that is much needed in any movie, it also delivers a decent amount of emotion and a good story.
All in all, I rate the movie a 7.0 out of 10.0 in its Comedy genre.
