This movie suffered the same issue "Man of Steel" suffered, too much dragging and bad writing for Superman. It seems like whoever wrote the lines and scenes for Superman isn't into the character enough.
Ben Affleck portrayed a decent Batman, however in my personal opinion he had great shoes to fill and it is pretty tough considering how Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale made it close to impossible. I still consider Affleck's a great performance at the end of the day enough to be in par with Michael Keaton's portrayal and until Bale I always considered Keaton's Batman the only good one.
Jesse Eisenberg on the other hand did an extremely amazing job portraying the infamous villain Lex Luthor. He did outdo any role he has ever played before. You could not just see the evil in him but it was just flying like fire balls out of his eyes and along with every word he said.
Gal Gadot does a great job as well portraying Wonder Woman so the movie dedicated to the character should be expected to have one hell of a performance by the actress.
Here are my thoughts for better future movies in the DC Cinematic Universe:
- Someone else needs to work on writing and probably directing any upcoming Superman sequels if they are to succeed, someone who is more passionate about the DC character.
- The dragging to extend the duration of the movie really needs to stop. I cannot see any other reason why so much dragging is shoved into the movie.

Again it is definitely worth watching if you plan on watching upcoming movies in the DC cinematic universe. Again a solid 7 out of 10 for the effects, the great job done by the actors and finally for the great buildup towards the Justice League movies.
