Two more pieces of the puzzle of what we should expect on the upcoming season and maybe seasons of 'Arrow' & ''The Flash' have come to surface. Let's check them out one by one:
ARROW
So we know one more thing about Arrow and specifically about Human Target. As per the latest news, Human Target will be helping Oliver and specifically Mayor Oliver Queen. The role is currently known to be non-recurring and hence so far we know he will only appear for a single episode, the fifth episode of the upcoming season.
Based on this piece of news and what we know about Human Target in the comics I am assuming Human Target won't know Oliver is the Arrow. There are two scenarios here on how this would work:
Scenario 1
Mayor Queen realizes there is a danger coming his way that he can only deal with as the Green Arrow. But in order to deal with it he needs to lure his enemies while he is the mayor and still be in the room as Arrow. In order to achieve that he hires human target, claiming he needs protection from a certain enemy. Human Target disguises himself as Oliver Queen assuming the latter is actually in hiding, while Oliver Queen is actually in Arrow Costume and ready to take down his enemies.
Scenario 2
Mayor Queen needs to perform his duties as the vigilante while still being mayor on a specific day/night. He hires Human Target claiming he is in danger to make sure someone is around posing as him, probably in some sort of function. And of course if they are bringing in Human Target something will have to go wrong for him to go all martial arts and stuff. I think this is a more probable scenario. We will find out.
I am assuming Human Target will only know Oliver as Oliver Queen and will never know he is the Green Arrow. We are going to find out soon enough anyway.
The fifth season of Arrow is set to premiere on Wednesday the 5th of October.
The Flash
"Obviously we did that on purpose. We love working with Teddy [Sears]. He’s such an amazing actor and amazing person, and was so much a part of the success of this show last season. There aren’t any immediate plans for that, but you can’t keep a good Black Flash down, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing him in the future."
Those were the words of Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer of the flash as he explained the decision to turn Hunter Zoloman into the 'Black Flash' rather than killing him off the show completely during the season finale of the second season of 'The Flash'
The Black Flash is known in the comics to be an omen of death to those connected to the Speed Force.
As Teddy Sears' return has been confirmed it is now a matter of when not if. This is of course great news to the flash fans. Teddy Sears gave an amazing portrayal of Zoom in the second season of the show. I am expecting to see him at some point in Season 3, that or in future seasons to come but I really hope he is going to be part of the upcoming season.
The Flash returns with an all new season on Tuesday the 4th of October.
