For a game based on one of the simplest most basic games of all time, the movie was great and extremely funny. As far as animation movies go, angry birds is not the best, neither is it even close. But it is still an decently funny movie with a bunch of laughs all the way through.
You get to see the birds you are familiar with in the game and each actually just about does what they do in the game in terms of the abilities they have. And we get to go with them on an adventure against the green explorer peaceful pigs, or are they?
Those pigs weren't peaceful at all, they were there to steal the birds' eggs before they return to their piggy island and our main character 'Red' who was suspicious of them finds out and leads his fellow birds to victory against these thieves.
All in all there are a lot of laughs in the movie and it is again one of those movies worth watching when all you need is pure comedy and no effort in thinking through any kind of plot.
I rate it a 6.0 out of 10.0.
