Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4: News

Like all other shows and especially the shows based on comics in their nature Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has had a lot of news coming in over the past couple of weeks with regards to its upcoming season which is set to air on September 20, 2016 on ABC. I will be doing a list of shows with premiere dates pretty soon anyway.

So the producers of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have announced a few thing including a few characters who will be added to the roster of the show.

First off we have Parminder Nagra whom we saw on the first season of the Blacklist, she will be playing a role similar to that of Constance Zimmer (Portraying Rosalind Price) at the beginning of Season 3. She has been identified as a powerful political figure with trust issues towards Inhumans. She is someone who believes they are a threat to society and hence she will be expected to face off with team S.H.I.E.L.D.

As we may all remember by the end of the third season of S.H.I.E.L.D. Daisy Johnson was out and on the run on her own, trying to help Inhumans all over the board and Phil Coulson was on her track after he stepped down from being director of S.H.I.E.L.D. That brings us to the second character cast on the show for its fourth season. Jason O'Mara who will play the role of trhe new director replacing Coulson.

We also know now that Gabriel Luna has been cast in the role of Robbie Reyes. We have Lilli Birdshell as well who has been cast in the role of Lucy, a beautiful woman with what the producers referred to as a violent streak.

There is also good news our beloved Skye/Daisy Johnson/Quake will be facing off with our new character Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes). Chloe Bennet also mentioned she will be working closely with Gabriel Luna. Does that mean that beyond their characters facing off they will end up working together or is 'working together' here only about scenes the actors do together? We will find out pretty soon I guess.

The new season will be picking up 6 months after the events of the third season, which means we will be picking up right where we left off in the last scene of the season with the time jump 6 months after the events of the third season.

There will be more freedom in doing classic inhuman characters on the show now seeing as how they are the show's main focus, meaning we might get to see big inhuman names on our small screens pretty soon.

A lot of characters will be assuming new roles in S.H.I.E.L.D.. Fitz and Simmons will continue their relationship however it will get bumpy down the road.

Oh, and S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back in the government's fold and will no more have to operate in the shadows going into the new season.
