And he is back!!!

The 24 star Kiefer Sutherland is making a return to the screen and instead of being CTU agent Jack Bauer he is now President Tom Kirkman, well about time he had a promotion and a name change I guess.

The series is about events that unravel on the night of the State of the Union, when an explosion claims the lives of the President and all members of the Cabinet except for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Tom Kirkman, who had been named the designated survivor. Kirkman is immediately sworn in as President, unaware that the attack is just the beginning of what is to come.

The trailer below is very intriguing so the statement 'Can't wait to watch this' is about right.

Besides Sutherland the series also stars Natascha McElhone, Kal Penn and Maggie Q and is set to air on Wednesday the 21st of September on ABC.
