The show keeps you wanting more. As most shows are, this one is flawed, how flawed it could be considered is left up to the viewer, I personally don't think it had enough flaws worth mentioning. Some viewers might not like that a major part of the show revolves around a trio of young boys trying as well to look for their missing friend (Winona Riders' boy) who disappears in the very first scene of the show in very unusual circumstances.
That's another thing as well about the show, the show does not give introductions right away, it starts off with the disappearance, doesn't waste much time but rather goes straight into the story.
Most major characters are introduced in the first episode and while the entire first season might constitute of 8 episodes only, it still manages to capture the audience and provide for a pretty decent character development throughout for most if not all characters in such a way that you could actually familiarize with the characters without allowing the short season run to rob the show of the character building element.
The show is set in the 1980s and it does capture that 1980s feel that most of my generation would probably remember and it is done so well. Even the music used on the show takes you back to that era.
All in all I gave the show an 8/10 and I am definitely looking forward to Netflix announcing a second season to the show. Rumors are already circulating that Netflix did order a second season but are yet to officially announce a renewal.
We will see.
