Stargirl
Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) is the step daughter of Pat Dugan and the second Star-Spangled Kid to appear in the DC comics. Her step father Pat Dugan was none other than the superhero S.T.R.I.P.E. (Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer). His abilities were a product of a powered armor suit he invented.
He is known in DC Comics as the adult sidekick of the Star-Spangled Kid, a.k.a. Stripesy. Sylvester Pemberton (Stripesy) was a gifted mechanic who took over his superhero mantle in order to battle Nazism during World War II. Together and along with Dugan they became members of DC's All Star Squadron, a justice league like team. Sylvester later on became Skyman.
