Gotham's New Poison Ivy

After 2 seasons of Claire Foley playing Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy, she will be replaced by Maggie Geha a young actress who will play an older/young woman version of Ivy.

Yesterday, Fox released some a synopsis for Posion Ivy's story line in season 3 explaining the switch. Ivy's sudden growth into a young woman has been explained as a product of her run-in with a monster from Indian Hill. This is definitely going to be a very interesting part of season 3 along with Bruce Wayne's doppelganger/fake twin/clone or maybe even real twin.

Considering this information we know that Claire Foley will probably be back for at least an episode or more until the incident causing her sudden growth into womanhood takes place.

It seems like the third season of Gotham like its second will deal with so many story lines and villains some probably in parallel and others probably at different parts of the season.

Worth noting from the latest combined trailer aired by FOX for both Lucifer and Gotham that Fish Mooney and Penguin will also have an ongoing battle of their own at least through the first half of the season.

Gotham returns for its third season on Monday the 19th of September.
